BACK TO THE BASICS

What did it mean?  These four words kept coming to me.  I would tell myself and A that I wanted to get back to the basics.  What does that mean to you A would ask? 

I would answer I'm not sure.  A smaller house? A simpler life I'm sure. A different job? Less pay?  How do I get back to the basics??

I'm not sure what it means or even what it is but I feltl I must find it for myself.

When I thought of  getting back to the basics it was living in a small town, smaller house, no worries to speak of, serving God.

Fast Forward August 2010

Back to the Basics

Having a garage sale that would get rid of  so much stuff that I carried around for years, furniture, appliances, lawn furniture and more.  This stuff was weighing me down!

Leaving a job with a very good salary for a job that didn't pay near as much.

Moving back to my small hometown.

Moving into a small 2 bedroom duplex versus a 4 bedroom home with a pool.

Feeling peace!  Getting back to the basics!

Knowing I was doing God's will for me to live a simpler life and for HIM!

Excited  about figuring out where this was leading me.  Wanting to serve God where He wanted me.
